Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi are coalescing on a strategy to pass Obamacare

January 26, 2010 -

National Right to Life and other credible sources are reporting that Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi are coalescing on a strategy to pass Obamacare — not a watered-down version but the whole package.

Here is how it would work:
1. House (as members hold their noses) passes pro-abortion Senate version of Obamacare with no amendments.

2. President Obama signs Obamacare into law.

3.  52 Senators agree ahead of time to changes demanded by House member.

4. Senate comes up with a new bill which includes the “fixes” demanded by House members.

5.  Reid brings the new bill up under “reconciliation” requiring only 51 votes, not the 60 votes needed to end a filibuster.

6. The 52 Senators who pledged ahead of time to make these changes vote for the bill.

7. House approves the new bill, President signs it into lawIt is a subversion of the normal process and will make Americans very, very angry but leaders appear ready to try this as a last ditch effort to foist Obamacare on the country.
Action is needed immediately to contact House members and urge them to vote against the pro-abortion Senate version of Obamacare. Don’t bother to contact Senators at this time.

More Medical Killing – Now Montana

By exploiting the emotions of the vulnerable, and the sympathies of the uninformed, society is on its way to the regulated killing the ‘imperfect,’ ‘who are going to die anyways.’ These, as we are regularly told, are those who, ‘cost us the most money’ and ‘are a burden to the healthcare system.’

Remember, Healthcare Reform is NOT designed to give more care to those who actually need it, because that is ‘costly.’ The goal of healthcare reform is to control costs. Killing the depressed is a cost-saver.

The U.S. Senate and Eternal Life

The United States Senate can grant eternal life. I wish I was kidding, but the healthcare bill that passed the Senate with the support of Feinstein and Boxer contained language that prohibits future lawmakers from ever changing the Independent Medicare Advisory Board from being considered…ever.

Language was inserted that says “it shall not be in order in the senate or the house of representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.”

Hats off to Sen. Jim Demint for this find. Of course this board will be charged with finding ways to reduce “costs” for Medicare. Other countries with government controlled health care reduce “costs” by reducing care and patients.

Eternal life for rationing, but an earlier death for some neglected Americans. Some Christmas present.

ObamCare Means Canadian Style Health Care Rationing

President Obama and Nancy Pelosi hold the Canadian health care system up as a prototype for the United States. Euthanasia Update

“Learning through Killing”

The Dutch are the post-War leaders in the concept of intentionally killing those who are perceived to be, ‘lacking a quality life.’ While practitioners tend to hide behind the notion that one must ask, the government itself has chronicled many acts of unrequested euthanasia.

But instead of bringing a “Brave New World” of medical freedom and vibrant living it has created medical madness and confusion. Fear and abandonment are its fruit.

23 Year “Coma” — Truth Unveiled

CNN Poll: Majority Favor Abortion Funding Ban in Health Care Bill

Posted by Brian Johnston to the CPLC Blog November 18th, 2009

Even the pro-Obama folks at CNN recognize that the majority of Americans do not want the government funding abortions. But even so, President Obama has promised Planned Parenthood that he will strip out the restrictions currently in the House bill.
Today’s poll by CNN shows that Obama’s commitment to the abortion lobby goes directly against the wishes of the American people.

From CNN’s Polling Unit

Washington (CNN)– Six in 10 Americans favor a ban on the use of federal funds for abortion, according to a new poll which also indicates that the public may also favor legislation that would prevent many women from getting their health insurance plan to cover the cost of an abortion, even if no federal funds are involved.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday morning indicates that 61 percent of the public opposes the use of public money for abortions for women who can not afford the procedure, with 37 percent in favor of allowing the use of federal funds.

And by a 51 percent to 45 percent margin, those questioned in the survey think that a women who get abortions should pay the full costs out of their own pocket, even if they have private health insurance and no federal funds are involved. The 6-point difference is within the poll’s sampling error.

The health care reform bill that narrowly passed in the House of Representatives on November 7 included tight restrictions on the use of federal money for abortion coverage. Abortion rights activists are strongly opposed to such restrictions.

Minneapolis Star-Tribune: Abortion Curbs Have Democrats in Dilemma‏

“Pro-life Democrats with resolve have brought a ‘tar baby’ to the Democrat’s Healthcare debate. Congressman Bart Stupak was willing to risk his career in facing down Speaker Pelosi, and it was the Speaker who blinked.

Now the Democrats find themselves with a bill that many radical, pro-abortion members of their party cannot stomach.
