Abortion: Legal and…Deadly!
Posted by Mike Spence in Uncategorized on August 2, 2010
It is a fact that abortion is deadly to the unborn child. That is the given anytime a mother gets an abortion. Unfortunately, it can be deadly for the mother as well. Last February, on these pages I mentioned a so-called Dr. Rutland that was discovered to still be practicing his abortion craft after being suspended in the death of patientYing Chin.
Now almost a year later the California Medical Board has amended their chargers to include homicide. The coroner reviewed the autopsy and changed the cause of death from accidental to homicide. The District Attorney in Los Angeles needs to act and file charges against this killer.
Abortion may be legal, but it isn’t safe.
No cuts for the Machinery of Death!

Why would the Governor release 17,000 criminals, cut back every state agency, reduce every state expenditure, except for the funds that flow to the abortion industry?
Perhaps it’s because of the Kennedy that secretly controls his policies behind the scenes. (No not THAT Kennedy!) Susan Kennedy, his Chief of Staff, is actually a long-time abortion activist. She is former Cabinet Secretary for Gray Davis, Communications Director for Diane Feinstein, Director of the California Democrat Party, and Director of California Abortion Rights Action League! So who is really making the decisions in this administration?
The budget impasse is not finished and will likely be re-visited in October.
Send the Gubernator a message, stop funding the machinery of Death! Sign our Petition to the Governor today! And tell others to as well! Killing babies before they are born is not a way to “help the future.” He needs to get us out of this science fiction run by ideological radicals like Susan Kennedy.

Gallup Poll Says Americans Are Pro-Life
Posted by Brian in Uncategorized on May 15, 2009
A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves “pro-life” on the issue of abortion and 42% “pro-choice.” This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

These are the Judges you were told about

Barack Obama’s first pick to the federal bench shows abortion radicalism in full-bloom. David Hamilton, Obama’s first appointee to the appellate level, used his position as a federal district judge in Indiana to prevent enforcement of that state’s informed consent law. But that law’s identical language had been upheld by the United States Supreme Court!
Hamilton held up the law for 7 years! Using the raw power of the bench, Hamilton superimposed his personal abortion views on the law, and the legislature, and the women of Indiana; all without actual legal authority. He used quibbling and his position of authority to prevent the Supreme Court’s ruling from having consequence in his district!
The federal appeals court that finally struck down his ruling and 7 years of ‘gaming the system’ issued an official chiding of his actions.
But now Hamilton has been appointed by President Barack Obama to sit on that Appeals bench.
Are You A National Threat?
Posted by Mike Spence in Uncategorized on April 14, 2009
Obama’s administration thinks pro-lifers are a threat. The recent Department of Homeland Security analysis of threats includes pro-lifers. yes pro-lifers. We are in good company with veterans and others that share affinity for American Values.
People that support killing innocent human life apparently aren’t a threat, unless you are a baby.
Peace! Peace! But there is no Peace

Phoning it in
There is something just a little odd here. The first question one must ask is well, “Why?” “Why would one want to reduce the number of abortions? What is wrong with abortion that there should be fewer of them?”
Readers of this blog, and most other Americans intuitively know the answer to that. Each abortion kills a vulnerable human being.
But why merely ‘reduce’ the total number?
Remember, these are not accidental deaths. These aren’t traffic deaths.
These are government sponsored, and in many states (like California), government financed, intentional killing. The Obama Administration is publicly admitting there is something wrong with these; because there is something wrong, it is “reaching out.” But is it?
While there were both pro and anti-abortion groups on the conference call, the supposed ‘peacemakers’ from the President’s “team” were each former abortion advocacy leaders – one from NOW, one from EMILY’s list, and the third a pro-abortion political operative. These were Mr. Obama’s ‘peace’ representatives.
Mr. Obama has not only filled his administration with the most radical representatives of the abortion lobby, he has pledged to support the FOCA which would prohibit any restrictions on abortion.
But he calls for peace.
For a little perspective, how should we react if those who similarly oversaw other government sponsored, intentional killing (remember, not accidental) of innocent human beings did the same? Let’s say the managers and apparats of Death Camps like Treblinka, let’s say they suggested peace with those who opposed them. They established a meeting, a phone call, and for bringing the numbers of deaths down a little, reducing the percentages a bit, that’s a “common ground.” They are being “balanced.” They are “peacemakers.” That’s acceptable, right? So leave them alone. They mean well. History would love them, right?
The naivete of some who actually think mere words are reality.. and then intentionally ignore reality; it is the naivete that has let evil prosper.
Obama seeks ‘a middle-ground’? Obama wants to ‘reduce abortion’??? Because he said so? Because there was a phone call?
Adolf Hitler famously advocated for, and then even held, a “Peace Conference” in Munich. Unconvinced were those who watched what he was actually doing and would not be beguiled by his words (as many Germans had been).
Chamberlain called it a success… “PEACE IN OUR TIME!”
But Hitler had never even veered from his deliberate and intentional plan for killing and war on the grandest scale…
As it was in those days, phoning in a peace conference was certainly good PR for what everyone sees to be the intentional killing of the innocent.

Bishop John D’Arcy of Ft. Wayne, IN, whose diocese includes the august institution Notre Dame University, was just informed the President has been invited to be honored there. Read his comments below:
Concerning President Barack Obama speaking at Notre Dame
graduation, receiving honorary law degree
March 24, 2009
On Friday, March 21, Father John Jenkins, CSC, phoned to inform me that President Obama had accepted his invitation to speak to the graduating class at Notre Dame and receive an honorary degree. We spoke shortly before the announcement was made public at the White House press briefing. It was the first time that I had been informed that Notre Dame had issued this invitation.
President Obama has recently reaffirmed, and has now placed in public policy, his long-stated unwillingness to hold human life as sacred. While claiming to separate politics from science, he has in fact separated science from ethics and has brought the American government, for the first time in history, into supporting direct destruction of innocent human life.
This will be the 25th Notre Dame graduation during my time as bishop. After much prayer, I have decided not to attend the graduation. I wish no disrespect to our president, I pray for him and wish him well. I have always revered the Office of the Presidency. But a bishop must teach the Catholic faith “in season and out of season,” and he teaches not only by his words — but by his actions.
My decision is not an attack on anyone, but is in defense of the truth about human life.
I have in mind also the statement of the U.S. Catholic Bishops in 2004. “The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions.” Indeed, the measure of any Catholic institution is not only what it stands for, but also what it will not stand for.
I have spoken with Professor Mary Ann Glendon, who is to receive the Laetare Medal. I have known her for many years and hold her in high esteem. We are both teachers, but in different ways. I have encouraged her to accept this award and take the opportunity such an award gives her to teach.
Even as I continue to ponder in prayer these events, which many have found shocking, so must Notre Dame. Indeed, as a Catholic University, Notre Dame must ask itself, if by this decision it has chosen prestige over truth.
Tomorrow, we celebrate as Catholics the moment when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, became a child in the womb of his most holy mother. Let us ask Our Lady to intercede for the university named in her honor, that it may recommit itself to the primacy of truth over prestige.
Forced Choice

“Hobson’s choice” is an old slang term for not really giving someone a choice at all. When this administration says it’s “pro-choice,” nothing could be further from the truth. Read more here:

Abortion Racism Again Documented
Posted by Brian in Uncategorized on March 3, 2009
Walter Hoye, tireless defender of life, has again brought into the light what many in the pro-life community have known, but what the media and Culture of Death routinely hush and hide: (1) abortion is in and of itself a dangerous procedure for both mother and child and (2) it is Black mothers and their children who are most often targeted. It is excellent, well documented reading.
Issues4Life Foundation – No Safe Abortions!
Union City, CA (ISSUES4LIFE FOUNDATION) Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009 – Just as choice without consequences does not exist and is merely a figment of our imagination; safe abortions are also imaginary, existing only in the minds of those either profiting from abortion or those desperately seeking justification for Prenatal Murder. In reality safe abortions do not exist.
IMPORTANT BACKGROUND: The Institute of Medicine, in 2006 and 2007, confirmed “prior first trimester induced abortion” is an “immutable medical risk factor associated with pre-term birth.” [1]
According to a study in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, Volume 13 Number 4, Winter 2008, entitled “Does Induced Abortion Account for Racial Disparity in Preterm Births, and Violate the Nuremberg Code?” Black American women have three (3) times the risk of suffering an early preterm birth (EPB, birth under 32 weeks) and four (4) times the risk of an extremely preterm birth (XPB, birth under 28 weeks). Happy Birthday! Ronald Reagan
Posted by Mike Spence in Uncategorized on February 6, 2009
February 6 marks Ronald Reagan’s Birthday.
Like many Americans Ronald Reagan is one of my favorite Presidents. He did an amazing amount of good for the United States and the world. Winning the Cold War, restoring confidence in the economy and really restoring the Presidency after scandal and incompetence.
One thing that people forget and the media wants people to forget is how his concern for his fellow man translated into his concern for innocent human Life. He really was the first pro-life President.
Pundits and political hacks will argue with me. But this piece of trivia settles it.
Who is the only President to publish a book while in office?
Ronald Reagan.
The book?
Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation.
The media won’t tell you that. Mr. President we miss you and what you stood for. Happy Birthday and Thank You!
