“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and PRAY and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” 2 Chronicles 7:14-15

While the California ProLife Council is decidedly non-sectarian in our approach to defending the innocent, we welcome the participation of people of faith. As believers, God exhorts us to pray for our leaders, for our country, for forgiveness of sin and for the healing of our land. Prayer moves mountains, changes hearts and alters circumstances. Without it — we can’t win the battle for the unborn!

The State of California leads the nation in the number of abortions 
performed annually. While we account for a little over 10% of the population, according to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, 20% of the nation’s abortions occur in California.

This disregard for unborn life has led to disrespect for other vulnerable members of the human family. A 1995 Field Poll revealed that 70% of Californians think incurably ill patients should be allowed to ask for and get a physician’s assistance to kill themselves.

We know you pray. But we are asking for something more. We are looking for an organized, united and committed group of people who will pledge — as individuals or in groups — to pray for the end of abortion and euthanasia. 

Would you fill out the online form and make a pledge to pray for the pro-life cause and the work of the California ProLife Council?  If you wish, you may sign up for a specific time every day, or on a specified day every month.  We pledge to pray also, and to send you notices periodically to help guide you as to what to pray for.
